So, today I followed Masterlife and read Genesis 22:1-19.

One thing I asked myself was:

"Will I be willing to obey as Abraham did?"

Will I be ready to obey God and let go of anything that He asks me to without further questions?
It can be my passion, it can even be my piano, it can be my relationship with someone, etc.
It can be my possesions, it can be my lappy. Anything, including things/people that I really treasure dearly.
Will I be willing to obey if God were to ask me to let go of any of these.
Abraham did. He obeyed God without further questions, ready to even let go of his only precious son when God tested him.

How about me?
How about you?

One thing I learnt today was that my obedience to God reflects alot on my priorities in my life.
If I am not willing to obey, then something is wrong with my priorities.

For example, if one day God were to ask me to let go of my career in piano teaching, but i decided not to obey. It actually reflects alot on my priorties, whether God is my first priority, or is my career more important than God that I am willing to disobey God for it.

So yeahh, it's always so important to check our hearts and our priorities at the end of the day.
If we don't even get our priorities right, how are we going to obey?

It's a challenge.

With love, Calista.
